Set Up Bluetooth Calling & Notifications
Your TG-Sense Ultra Smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling and smart notifications, allowing you to handle supported calls and view alerts directly from your wrist while your watch remains connected to your smartphone.
Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have already:
- Installed the G Band app
- Connected your TG-Sense Ultra through G Band
- Enabled Bluetooth on your smartphone
- Allowed the necessary app permissions
Important
TG-Sense Ultra uses separate Bluetooth functions for:
App & data synchronization
and
Bluetooth calling
Because of this, you may see more than one Bluetooth connection for your watch.
This is normal.
Part 1 — Set Up Bluetooth Calling
Step 1 — Confirm Your Watch Is Connected to G Band
Open the G Band app.
Go to the Device section and confirm that your TG-Sense Ultra shows as connected.
Step 2 — Enable Bluetooth Calling in G Band
Inside G Band, go to:
Device → Phone Call → Bluetooth Calls
Enable the Bluetooth calling function.
Your phone may now request permission to establish another Bluetooth connection with the watch.
Step 3 — Check Communication Settings on the Watch
On your TG-Sense Ultra:
- Open Quick Settings
- Find Communication Settings
- Check the Bluetooth calling connection
If it displays:
Not Connected
tap it to begin connecting.
Step 4 — Accept the Bluetooth Pairing Request
Your phone should display a Bluetooth pairing request.
Tap:
Pair
to confirm.
Once completed, Bluetooth calling should be enabled.
Step 5 — Test the Calling Feature
Open the Phone function on your TG-Sense Ultra.
Depending on the available options, you may be able to access:
- Dialing
- Contacts
- Recent calls
- Call history
- Incoming calls
- Outgoing calls
Your smartphone must remain within normal Bluetooth range for the calling function to work.
Part 2 — Set Up Notifications
TG-Sense Ultra can display supported notifications from your smartphone, including alerts such as:
- Incoming calls
- Text messages
- App notifications
- Social notifications
- Other supported alerts
Availability may vary depending on your phone, operating system, app permissions, and G Band settings.
Step 1 — Allow Notification Access
Make sure G Band is allowed to access notifications on your smartphone.
When your phone asks for notification permission, tap:
Allow
If you previously denied permission, open your phone's settings and enable notification access for G Band.
Step 2 — Enable Notifications Inside G Band
Open:
G Band → Device
Then locate the notification or message reminder settings.
Enable the notification categories and supported apps you want displayed on your TG-Sense Ultra.
Step 3 — Check Your Phone's App Permissions
Make sure notifications are also enabled on your smartphone for the individual apps you want to receive alerts from.
For example, if you want message notifications on your watch, that app must already be allowed to send notifications on your phone.
Step 4 — Test Your Notifications
Send yourself a test message or receive a supported notification.
Your TG-Sense Ultra should display the notification while:
- Bluetooth is connected
- G Band is properly configured
- Required permissions are enabled
- The watch is within Bluetooth range
Calls Work, but Notifications Don't?
Check the following:
- G Band has notification access.
- Notifications are enabled inside G Band.
- The specific app is allowed to send notifications.
- Bluetooth is connected.
- Your watch is connected inside G Band.
- Do Not Disturb mode is turned off.
Notifications Work, but Calls Don't?
Reconnect the calling Bluetooth.
Inside G Band:
Device → Phone Call → Bluetooth Calls
Then on your watch:
Quick Settings → Communication Settings
If it shows Not Connected, reconnect it and accept the Bluetooth pairing request on your smartphone.
Calls Suddenly Stopped Working?
The app/data Bluetooth connection may still be active even if the separate calling Bluetooth connection has disconnected.
Simply reconnect:
G Band → Device → Phone Call → Bluetooth Calls
Then confirm the connection from your watch if requested.
Bluetooth Calling Tip
For the most reliable connection:
- Keep your smartphone within Bluetooth range.
- Keep Bluetooth turned on.
- Avoid manually removing the watch from your phone's Bluetooth settings unless troubleshooting.
- Keep G Band updated.
